Making Cupcakes with Emmett

Maybe offering to attempt to teach Emmett how to make chocolate cupcakes had been a bad idea, but at the time I thought it’d be a nice bonding experience for the two of us. At the moment the beautiful, childlike man was beating the eggs and oil into the mix a little roughly and smiling broadly at me. While usually I would have chided him for being careless (playfully of course), the smudges of flour on his cheeks and the way he was looking at me made me grin. How did I ever get so lucky?

In the last six months that Alice, Jasper, and my personal heaven, Emmett had returned I had never felt so whole and complete. The only downside to their return was that they had done so against the wishes of the rest of the Cullen clan, but I could not bring myself to regret their decision. I loved the three of them with everything that I had in me, and at some point the brotherly love I felt for Emmett changed and grew. It tripled when he had first kissed me, and it because endless the first time he told me he loved me not long after. He was perfect, and he was mine.

Emmett brought me out of my musings with a feather light kiss to my temple, as he stepped behind me resting his left hand on my hip in order to pull me recklessly close to him. “Isabella,” he started using my full first name, “what are you thinking about babe?”

I pressed my lips to the underside of his jaw, the warmth of my lips making him shudder slightly in pleasure. “How amazing you are,” I answered honestly.

He smiled brightly at me, and traced a small shaped on the exposed area of my skin, causing me to make a small purr like moan at the back of my throat that caused him to chuckle in pleasure.

“Why, what are you thinking about Emmét?”

While calling Emmett, ‘Emmie’ was not allowed, ‘Emmét’ was; I always pronounced it like ‘Emmie’ but with more of a French roll to my tongue.

“I was wondering what cupcakes tasted like,” he had a wicked smile on his beautiful face, and I knew there was more to it than that, but I played along.

“Picture the best taste you’ve ever experienced, and multiply it by ten,” I teased.

“No way it could be even close Bellarina,” he gave me one of his rare serious faces, and I laughed quietly at him.

“I’m sure grizzles don’t taste that good Emmerson,” I continued to tease, until the curly-haired vampire caught me in a fierce kiss.

Once he released my mouth he placed his stone like lips on my neck and whispered huskily in my ear, “Bella, I don’t think grizzly can compare to the way your kiss tastes.” I’ll admit, I melted a little bit when he said that.

I covered my reaction with a playful grin. “Suck up,” I turned and pressed my back into his broad chest once again.

“I’d like to suck-“ he said before I cut him off.

“Hush, I’m sure Ali and Jas don’t want to hear their brother talk about what he would and wouldn’t like to suck with his girlfriend,” I could have sworn I heard Alice call a muffled ‘thank you’ down the stairs.

Emmett dipped a finger into the chocolate cupcake batter before he lazily drew a heart on the side of my neck, ignoring my teasing. I arched back into the massive vampire before I lazily rolled my head to the left opening my neck and its small chocolate shape to his mouth.

"No biting Em," I chided him softly as I tangled my fingers with the ones he had rested on my hip.

He chuckled, his cool breath fanning over my heated neck, "not even a nibble?"

I opened my mouth to answer him, but was brought up short when his tongue traced the shape twice before he placed a series of open mouth kisses to my, now, goose fleshed skin.

I spun around and wrapped my arms around Emmett's shoulders, no small fete for someone of my size. He cleared the counter top eagerly, sending the brown batter all over the marble floors. Before I could say anything he had quickly lifted me to the now vacant counter. Deftly I wrapped my legs around his waist, and before I could claim his mouth in a kiss I heard a person clear their throat. My head whipped to the side where I saw my best friend, Alice, standing with a smirk playing at her lips.

"Emmett, I know you can't get enough of Bells, but could you take it down a notch? Jas looks like he's about to throw up."

"Sorry Ali," I called to her retreating back.

I quickly pecked the corner of his mouth before, with his help, I hopped down. “Honey, help me clean up this mess,” I smiled at him adoringly.

Emmett swatted me, softly, on my backside before cleaning up our mess in the time it took me to take four human steps. He stepped back to me as he wrapped me in his arms and claimed my mouth for another hungry kiss. After he released my freshly bruised lips he brought his lips to my ear and whispered something only Emmett would say-

“Thank you for teaching me how to make cupcakes Bell, I can see why people like hem so much,” he trailed off for a second before continuing. “I might even like them more than grizzlies.”

I giggled girlishly as he pressed me tighter to his body. It was defiantly a good idea to make cupcakes with Emmett.
